How Do I Choose the Right Meal Plan for me?
Fresh Healthy Tasty offers simple balanced healthy meal programs for people with not so simple lives. We offer fresh, portion controlled flavorful meals to help people lose weight or maintain a healthy diet. For optimal health benefits, we recommend the Silver Program consisting of 3 Meals and 2 Snacks 7 Days per week. Please review “How It Works” outlining our Silver, Gold and Platinum program to see what is right for you. We have Traditional and Vegetarian meal plans available. How often should I eat my meals?
Experts believe eating three hours apart boosts the metabolism, increases energy and decreases appetite. This is our recommendation if you select the 3 Meals / 2 Snacks program.
Does Fresh Healthy Tasty have an automatic renewal?
Yes, AUTOMATIC RENEWAL APPLIES TO ALL MEAL PLAN PROGRAMS. YOUR METHOD OF PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY TO GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE. TO DISCONTINUE THE PROGRAM, PLEASE CONTACT FRESH HEALTHY TASTY AND CANCEL AT LEAST 3 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR AUTOMATIC RENEWAL DATE.
Should I consult with my physician before beginning a diet program?
Please consult with your physician to determine if any of our meal plans are right for you before signing up for Fresh Healthy Tasty.
What if I Have Food Allergies?
Common food allergies include eggs, nuts, milk, peanuts, shellfish, strawberries and tomatoes and these are foods that are used in our meal plan.
If you suffer from allergies, our offering may not be right for you and we do not recommend Fresh Healthy Tasty. Although our goal is to avoid cross contamination, we cannot guarantee it. We recommend you consult with your physician and give careful consideration to whether Fresh Healthy Tasty is right for you.
When signing up for membership it is crucial that you complete the online form and inform us of any food allergies immediately.
How Can I Change my Meal Program?
If you wish to make a change, please log on to your account and make the meal plan change on freshhealthytasty.com and the change will be made on the next billing cycle provided you make the change at least 3 business days prior to your automatic renewal date.
How can I freeze / place my account on a temporary hold?
Please log in to your account with the delivery days you would like to freeze your account and make the change on the calendar. It takes 3 business days to process your request, therefore please provide the appropriate notice so you do not lose any meal days.
How many days do my meals last?
We recommend you refrigerate your meals immediately upon receipt and eat your meals within 3 days of delivery.
What do I do with my insulated cooler bags?
Insulated cooler bags should be left empty outside on the evening before your scheduled delivery along with the ice pack. A $25.00 fee will be charged to your account on record for each missing insulated cooler bag. A $3.00 fee will be charged to your account on record for each missing ice pack. We would prefer not to charge the fee, so please return the bag and ice pack following each delivery.
How do I let you know if I have food dislikes?
When you sign up, please let us know your food dislikes. With the Silver and Gold program, you can identify up to 3 food items to exclude from the menu for example mushrooms. With the Platinum program, you can identify up to 6 food items to exclude from the menu for example salmon.
Are all my meals FRESH?
Yes! We take pride in preparing our meals fresh by our very talented staff. They are not frozen. All meals are fully cooked. Meal in black containers can be reheated in a microwave.
When should I expect my delivery?
Healthy gourmet meals (non-frozen) are delivered to your home or office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in insulated cooler bags to maintain freshness.
Should I drink with my meals?
It is generally recommended that you drink 8 glasses of water per day, however how much fluid your body needs does depend on a variety of factors, for example depending on how active you are, your health status as well as other factors. We also recommend drinking green tea regularly unless you have any dietary restrictions or conditions that limit you from doing so (ie caffeine); consult with your physician.
Should I exercise while on the meal plan?
You should consult with your physician to determine the right exercise program for you. We are not medical professionals therefore do not provide any medical advice. If approved by your physician, a regular exercise plan coupled with the meal plan traditionally will enhance health benefits.
